SECRETARIAT

It is hosted by the Kiev, Ukraine office of the Youth Human Rights Movement, a community of people from different countries (at present – more than 30 states), young (by passport or by soul), for whom Human Rights and individual dignity are crucial values. Members of the network are united to support each other in defending and promoting these values, to share ideas, to arrange joint actions and to form new generation of civil activists.

Executive Secretary - ANNA DOBROVOLSKAYA, from International service of the International Youth Human Rights Movement, lives between Russia and Ukraine working for YHRM in Voronezh and Kiev.

Assistant Secretary - KOSTANTIN BARANOV, from Youth Civil Congress and "Young Europe", has been involved into WYMD activities for about a year, in charge of Russian-speaking participants and programs of the WYMD. Konstantin is from Russia.

Regional Coordinator, CEE & NIS - ANASTASIA NIKITINA has been involved for the past year in organizing regional activities for the WYMD. She also acts as a regular consultant to the Secreatiat.

GYAN's mission is to facilitate youth participation and intergenerational partnership in global decision-making processes; to support collaboration among diverse youth organizations; and to provide tools, resources, and recognition for positive youth action to change the world.
