By Mark Rodney
A short essay on youth participation in Jamaica. This essay discusses
the challenges faced by young people in Jamaica with an interest in activism
and in political participation. The challenges range from the type of

more specific to Jamaica, e.g. a limited choice of party, the current
political climate etc. The essay also discusses the current political
as well as the historical climate in Jamaica.
